The design elements in this bag inclusive of color, texture & placement are amazing. A true masterpiece on a small format. Neptunes Palace is one of Marys hard sided bag and there is not one corner of this bag that she has not given the utmost of her attention to. It is a collage, front & back of individually placed wooden beads, mother of pearl beads and cabachons, faux pearls,and faux minerals. There is a row of braided bronzed trim that lines the antiqued brass hinged frame that closes with a top open (this is a really tight one to open so if you have arthritic hands I would strongly advise against it ...sorry, don't want anyone to be dissapointed with their pretties). The interior is lined in cocoa silk. Neptunes Palace has a tuckable strap (this can be removed as it attaches with lobster claws) that affords a 12.5" drop if you would like to wear her as a shoulder bag. The strap is deliciously created with heavily tied & braided wooden, faux mineral & seed beads. An absolute treasure for any collector of the Mary Frances line. She does include a dust bag.
