Timmy Woods Santa XII acacia wood handbag

 If any of Timmy Woods bags deserve their own private place in your treasure trove of collectibles it is her limited edition Santa bags. Santa XII is nothing shy of magnificent. He stands 6" tall , is 6.5" wide and is 4.5" deep. He is carried with a black satin braided cord that has a 22.5" hang length. Santa has been warmly painted and then antiqued in a gilded gold. He has a fur tassle on his cap along with acrylic cabachons. His eye glasses are trimmed with Swarovski austrian crystals.

I only have one of these so if he has stolen your heart...please don't pass him up.

Welcome to my  world of highly collectible handbags. One of my other passions, outside of jewelery design , has been handbag design. While I have previously offered my own pieces in ebay & continue to sell my own pieces in a boutique I no longer have the time to dedicate to this passion. Timmy Woods of Beverly Hills was launched in 1992 by  artist designer and entrepreneur Timmy Woods. The line focuses on innovative designs that appeal to women with a wide range of interests. All items are sculpted by hand  (many in the Phillipines) from fallen acacia trees,  lined with silky bengaline, and have tucked in satin rope handles. For each tree used two are replanted in their place. Each bag takes 30 or more days to complete. These bags are collected both for personal use or as visual collectibles. Most of these pretties  are very limited in space with small openings for perhaps a cell phone, keys , lipstick and a small wallet.
