Fabulous wide band sterling silver ring set with faux marcasite (marcasite set in jewelery is lab created ...real marcasite is crumbly and would fall out of the jewelery) and a yummy 8x10 black mother of pearl. This ring is really well crafted with triple rows of marcasite (two rows of rounds an) within a band of 11mm wide and 1.25mm in thickness (the back of the shank is 5mm).
I purchased this particular pretty from an antiques broker.

While I adore designing my own jewelery I have studied and collected vintage and estate pieces since the late 70s. I will be collecting a variety of items with my clients discerning tastes in mind. This room will be furnished with jewelery new & old of fine quality.
Please note all items with marcasite is typically faux marcasite...actual marcasite crumbles so is not really used in jewelery production as it would not at all hold up to the daily wear. I hand select all of my pieces for sale though so guarantee beauty in each item I sell.
Please understand...I will not be altering or resizing any of these pieces. While I will be collecting from a variety of sources including but not limited to estate sales, auctions, boutique & art gallery closings, etc....all items will be cleaned, re-polished and ready to wear at shipping.
