Timmy Woods Orchidee handbag

Timmy Woods of Beverly Hills was launched in 1992 by  artist designer and entrepreneur Timmy Woods. The line focuses on innovative designs that appeal to women with a wide range of interests. All items are sculpted by hand  (many in the Phillipines) from fallen acacia trees,  lined with silky bengaline, and have tucked in satin rope handles. For each tree used two are replanted in their place. Each bag takes 30 or more days to complete. These bags are collected both for personal use or as visual collectibles. Most of these pretties  are very limited in space with small openings for perhaps a cell phone, keys , lipstick and a small wallet.

This fantastic for summer fun handbag is titled "Orchidee" and it is from the Timmy Woods Rainbow collection. It is currently retailing for 315.00. It is acacia wood painted in lemon yellow tapering into tangerine & finishing with lipstick pink. It is relatively roomy for a really fun bag to actually use in the Timmy Woods line.  She measures 11.5" W x 4.5" T and is approx. 2.5" deep. She sports a handle crafted in large wooden beads to match the bag with a hang length of 17.5" (at the very top of the handle is a piece of bridge wood for comfort in over the shoulder wear. The bag is lined in the traditional silk bengaline, has a zipper pocket & has the TW logo tag stitched in. The bag closes with a TW inscribed fold over clasp in brushed brass.  Orchidee  includes  a Timmy Woods dust bag for storage.FUN*FUN* FUN !!!
