If you are seeking a Mary Frances pretty that you can use all the time "Amazing Amethyst" from her new 2010 Resort collection may be the one for you. She is the perfect size of 9.5 W x 6.5 T x 3 D. She is a soft bag so nice & light weight and has a soft gold faux leather wide strap for carrying ( 9" hang length). Admittedly while the entire bag is delicious I am a pure admirer of the the rings of beads Mary has wrapped around the base of the strap...It's like the appetizer before the entree. The base of the bag is a lavender silk dupioni but it is only visible in a small area as the bag is simply coated in hundreds of seed beads, gold painted wooden beads, amethyst chips & bead, amethyst catseye glass cabachons, unakite chips, metal beads, metal discs, etc. She is nothing shy of AMAZING !!!!! Her base is faux gold leather. She closes with a brite brass kiss lock, is lined in lite lavender & has a slip pocket. You would have a hard time storing this lovely slice of wearable art but if needed she does comecomplete with a signature MF dust bag for storage.
